This also displays moderate wood influence with a menthol top note on the very ripe cassis, spice, earth and discreet floral-suffused aromas. The supple and lavishly rich, even opulent, flavors exude a refreshing salinity on the bitter cherry pit-inflected finish that is quite firm though not really austere.
